Cute li’l CoCo is eager, alert, and has been a very good dog while staying at the Aztec Animal Shelter since January, but it is time for this girl to find a forever home.
Weighing in at 40 pounds, she is 1 year 9 months old and shouldn’t get much taller. Best guess as to breed is possible Labrador Retriever and Border Collie mix. She is good on a leash and has been getting along well with the other dogs at the shelter.

The Aztec Animal Shelter is also hosting a Cat Spay and Neuter Clinic on Monday, May 4. Cost is $50 per cat, spay or neuter, which includes FVRCP and amp; rabies vaccine.
Microchip will be available for an additional $10. Cats must be under 6 years old and at least 2 pounds. Preregistration is required and must be made in person at the Aztec Animal Shelter, 825 Sabena St., Aztec. Payment is due at time of preregistration, and people can preregister from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday through Saturdays.
