Mark your calendars and remember to join the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter for its annual Bark in the Park and Doggie Dash from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Animas Park.
The shelter is inviting families, including four-legged family members, to come out for a full day of free fun including games, vendors, activities, an adoptable pet parade, puppy yoga and more. All ages are welcome to the Doggie Dash, an approximately 2-mile loop.
The race starts at 10 a.m. Register in advance for a T-shirt at FarmingtonNM.gov/Register.

Pretty blonde Jasmin has one blue eye and one brown eye and is in need of a home.
A former stray, her mix is unknown, but this approximate 1-year-old is super-friendly to everyone, human and canine, and is playful and snuggly. The Farmington Regional Animal Shelter reports that if you get on the ground, she’ll crawl right in your lap.
Currently around 35 pounds, she may have some growing left to do, although there are no clear estimates. What is for sure is that she has lots of love to share and looks forward to many good times ahead. Visit the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter if you’d like to meet Jasmin.
