The San Juan County Assessor’s Office and the New Mexico Department of Veterans Services will host an in-office service day to assist veterans with property tax exemptions on April 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the San Juan County Assessor’s Office, 100 S. Oliver Drive, Ste. 400, Aztec.

“Staff from the San Juan County Assessor’s Office and the New Mexico Department of Veterans Services will help veterans and unmarried surviving spouses of veterans file for veterans property tax exemptions,” Devin Neeley, San Juan County public relations/film manager, said in a news release.

Furthermore, it stated that 100% permanent-and-total service-connected, disabled property tax exemptions were included in the program.

“Get your exemption on the spot,” the release stated.
