Farmington City Councilor Janis Jakino launched her reelection campaign for city council on Friday, committing to the betterment of the community.
Jakino will run on a platform of dedication and results during her current term. She aims to build on her accomplishments and tackle new challenges that lie ahead.
A news release stated, “Her experience as a thoughtful and visionary leader has contributed to advancements in promoting economic growth, strengthening infrastructure and increasing public safety in Farmington.”
“I’m honored to serve the people of Farmington as a city councilor, and I’m eager to continue this journey,” Jakino said in a prepared statement. “Our city is flourishing, but there’s still much work to be done. I will strive to ensure that we continue moving forward on our quest to build a thriving community.”
