Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Israel’s occupation of southern Lebanon would violate the deal. The contradictory interpretations threatened to sink the agreement and lead to the resumption of all-out war. The United States has not said whether Lebanon was part of the final agreement. It remains unclear what is in the agreement as it has yet to be released publicly in full.

Wisconsin beagle research facility that drew protests is closing as rescue group takes in dogs

A Wisconsin beagle research facility that’s drawn animal welfare protests is closing and its remaining dogs are being taken in by a Florida rescue group. Big Dog Ranch Rescue announced Monday that it has reached an agreement for the permanent closure of Ridglan Farms and the transfer of its 475 remaining beagles starting this week. The rescue group said some of the beagles will be sent to its Florida and Alabama campuses where they will be spayed, neutered, and prepared for adoption. The group acquired more than 2,000 of the facility’s beagles in April. The dog breeding and research business said all the dogs being transferred are “happy, healthy animals.”

The deal will give Fox access to the Roku Channel, first-party data and more than 100 million global streaming households. Administration plans intensive, year-round construction schedule for Trump’s triumphal arch

WASHINGTON – A new report by the National Park Service says construction of the 250-foot-high triumphal arch that President Donald Trump wants built near the Lincoln Memorial could occur 20 hours per day, year-round, as officials push to complete the project within three years. Tower cranes up to 320 feet tall would be needed to build the arch, which would be more than twice as high as the Lincoln Memorial. The planned site for the arch, across the Potomac River from the memorial, is on a flight path near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration said Wednesday it is reviewing whether the project’s planned height poses a risk to airplane travel in the area.
