In honor of National Public Lands Day, the Bureau of Land Management’s Farmington Field Office is partnering with San Juan County and the cities of the Aztec, Bloomfield and Farmington to clean up the Glade Run Recreation Area on Sept. 23 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Dumpsters will be placed at:

The Brown Spring Off-highway Vehicle Area 3 miles north of Piñon Hills Boulevard on County 1980.The intersection of Hood Mesa and College Boulevard.The intersection of County Road 3535 and County Road 3536.Bloomfield City Hall, at 915 N. First St.

National Public Lands Day has mobilized volunteers on the fourth Saturday in September since, 1994.

“This year we welcome the public to bring their gloves and hats and join us in the effort to improve their public lands,” said BLM Farmington Field Office Assistant Field Manager Jeff Tafoya.
