The San Juan College Henderson Fine Arts Center Art Gallery is proudly presenting Dreams & Memories – Artwork by Karen Coy, now – Sept. 4.
Painting has been an adventure of a lifetime for Coy. Raised in New Mexico, she conveys her innermost thoughts, emotions, dreams and memories through abstract expressionism and mystical landscapes. Carefully selecting elements of art, her final assemblage depicts her early sightings and travels across the world. They may also represent life’s roads as they contain unexpected twists and turns, leading to our own personal choices.
With this current exhibit at the Henderson Fine Art Gallery, Coy hopes her paintings will inspire your own imagination and cherished memories.
The Henderson Fine Arts Center Art Gallery is open Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
