Join the Pioneer Village event to step back in time to postwar America’s UFO craze and delve into UFO encounters right here in Aztec. The event will offer a fascinating look at local sightings, legends and lore – where fact meets fiction and curiosity takes flight.
What is fact? What is fiction? What do you think?
This free, public program, presented by Michael Mongeau, will look into Aztec’s UFO encounters. Mongeau is the reference/instruction librarian and archivist at San Juan College. The museum does not offer or endorse any formal opinions regarding UFO sightings, but enjoys local lore and those who have offered testimony and stories of sightings.
The Aztec UFO Incident: Fact or Fiction? will take place from 7 – 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Aztec Museum & Pioneer Village, 125 N. Main Ave. Park in the municipal lot behind the museum, by the Aztec Splash Pad, and enter through the west gate. The event is open to all … extraterrestrials included.
