FARMINGTON – With the holiday break complete, the local and area prep sports calendar is back with a full slate of action.

Regular-season basketball tournaments continue for a number of teams, including Kirtland Central’s girls squad, competing in the Albuquerque Public Schools Metro Tournament.

Both the boys and girls basketball teams from Navajo Prep will take part in the Santa Fe Indian School Invitational, while Piedra Vista’s boys team competes this week in the Gallup Invitational.
