FARMINGTON – The New Mexico Activities Association’s high school basketball tournament opens Friday and Saturday with home games for top seeds in their respective classifications.

Seedings and brackets were announced Sunday by the NMAA. Following the conclusion of the opening round, the tournament heads south where it all comes down to championship games next weekend at The Pit in Albuquerque.

Meantime, high school baseball and softball seasons are underway with tournament and early season doubleheaders are scheduled across the state.

Baseball and softball schedules listed below include all the teams for which schedule information has been provided. Some schools may not be included because information was not available at press time.
