The City of Farmington is inviting residents to help protect the community they call home by participating in the next phase of its community speed management initiative. Free “Not So Fast Farmington” yard signs are currently available at three city pickup locations, serving as a friendly neighbor-to-neighbor reminder that keeping our streets safe is a shared responsibility.
The yard sign rollout marks the latest phase of the broader Not So Fast Farmington campaign – a community-wide partnership dedicated to making local streets safe and comfortable for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.
By placing a sign in their yard, residents join campaign mascot Cruz, the responsible roadrunner, in a collective effort to ease off the gas, stay alert and cultivate a culture of care right where we live. They serve as a visual commitment to personal responsibility.
Farmington residents can claim their free sign during regular operating hours at any of the following locations (available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last):
