The San Juan College Native American Center is holding its Third Annual Navajo Song & Dance at the Farmington Museum in September.

The community is invited to experience a day of culture and the arts from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 19. Admission is free.

This year’s event will feature the Todi Neesh Zhee Singers, a group with over 45 years of performing and a Grammy-winning album. The group will return after performing in 2024, NAC Director Brandon Ashley said.

Navajo two-step and skip dance songs will be performed with artisans and vendors there from across the Four Corners to display and sell handmade crafts. Food will also be available for purchase.

“The Navajo Song & Dance is a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the Navajo culture,” Ashley said. “These gatherings welcome everyone, from our youngest children to our elders, and offer an opportunity to connect through song, dance and tradition.”
