The community is invited to enjoy a free movie under the stars on Saturday at Henderson Fine Arts Center.
Showing on the outdoor stage will be “National Treasure.” The movie is scheduled to start at dusk, with a pre-show beginning at 8 p.m.
In the film, Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicholas Cage), is a historian, along with computer expert Riley Poole (Justin Bartha) and archivist Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger), search for a massive lost Freemason treasure, which includes a map hidden on the back of the United States Declaration of Independence.
The movie will be shown on the Henderson Fine Arts Center’s front lawn at San Juan College in Farmington. People are encouraged to bring a lawn chair/blanket. Popcorn and concessions will be for sale.
The show is part of the Cinematheque series, which will return Oct. 17 to the Connie Gotsch Theatre for a screening “House on Haunted Hill.”
