The San Juan College Henderson Fine Arts Center Art Gallery will proudly present Machine Dreaming – Artwork by Lise Cook, this month.
Cook is a mixed media artist based in Pueblo, Colorado. Surrounded by the San Luis Valley, she creates an immersive experience for viewers to glide through Earth’s details, such as cells, roots, rivers and topography. Starting with traditional paints, Cook uses digital tools such as 3D modeling and AI enhancement to bridge the connections between nature and technology. She continues to explore these mystical landscapes through an endless process of creating and recreating.
An opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Friday, May 29, from 4 – 6 p.m., and the art will be on display through June 26.
The Henderson Fine Arts Center Art Gallery is open Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
