Movies at the Museum will return this week to the Aztec Museum & Pioneer Village, 125 N. Main Ave., on Friday, May 22.
The season’s first movie will be the 2010 Disney film, “Tangled.”
Based on the Rapunzel fairy tale, the community is invited to enjoy the story of a princess with 70 feet of magical hair who escapes a tower with a charming thief, Flynn Rider.
The movie will start at dusk, around 8:30 p.m., in the Pioneer Village. People are encouraged to park in the municipal lot and enter through the west gate, and also to bring camp chairs, blankets, jackets and bug repellent.
Concessions will be available.
The free, family-friendly movie series will take place on the fourth Friday of the month at the museum. Sponsors of the movie nights include Waste Management and HydroPure Technology of Aztec.
