People looking for some live music have three opportunities in three days this weekend in Farmington.
On Friday, May 1, the Civic Winds Jazz Orchestra will celebrate jazz, swing, funk and blues during its show, Jazz in the 505! The show will feature Sir Duke, Peter Gunn and more musicians. It will take place at 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Farmington, 865 N. Dustin Ave.

On Saturday at 7:30 p.m., The Rocket Man Show will take over the Farmington Civic Center, 200 W. Arrington St. Scotsman Rus Anderson, Elton John’s official 70s body double, will star in a high‑energy tribute to Elton John’s iconic 70s era. Chosen by the man himself, Anderson’s performance pilots a night of Elton John’s greatest hits, gorgeous costumes and fierce piano playing.

On Sunday, San Juan College Jazz Ensemble’s Spring Concert will take place at 3 p.m. at the Connie Gotsch Theatre. John Patton will direct the college musicians as they show off their rhythm and skills.
