Music students and the teachers who inspire them will take the stage in the next Showcase on Dustin.

“Mentors in Music,” is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 26 at First Presbyterian Church in Farmington. The performance will feature music teachers and their students sharing the stage in a collaborative concert that highlights mentorship through music.

The program brings together students of Elaina Crenshaw, Robyn Woodard, Teun Fetz, Ashlie Gold, Amber Swenk, Natalia Kruse, Nick Doherty, Tiana Winer and Sacred Voce, showcasing a range of musical styles and performers.

Unlike traditional recitals, the concert will emphasize the relationship between teacher and student, offering audiences the opportunity to see the connection expressed through live performance.

The event is part of the Showcase on Dustin concert series, which pairs live performances with community impact through local nonprofit partnerships. Proceeds from this concert will benefit Sexual Assault Services of Northwest New Mexico.

The concert is open to the public. Admission is $10 at the door, but free for children and students.
