What began as a small after-school activity has grown into San Juan County’s signature Easter celebration, drawing thousands of families and prompting organizers to expand while keeping the event rooted in the community center staff who built it.

“It’s getting bigger, better and hoppin’ to a brand-new home,” said Gina Intoppa, marketing and communications manager for the city of Farmington, in a news release. The event on Friday morning marked its 17th year and its debut at the Farmington Recreation Center, 1101 Fairgrounds Road.
