FARMINGTON – A match between the top two high school baseball teams in the state is one of several headline games on the schedule.

Cleveland High, ranked atop the latest polling by Maxpreps, will host second-ranked Piedra Vista on Tuesday.

Meantime, three of the top ten teams in Class 4A softball reside in District 1-4A, with Aztec, Gallup and Kirtland Central all in action this week.

State powerlifting championships will be handed out Friday and Saturday at the Rio Rancho Events Center, while local tennis and track and field teams will also be in action this weekend.
