A sound competition was also hosted by McCain Audio in the free public parking lot behind Brown’s Shoe Store at the Off-Road Downtown Takeover. McCain Audio said they awarded Best of Show for the most customized and Clean build to Jerry W. They had two classes in the event on Friday, Sept. 6. The first stock class had only two competitors, McCain Audio said Mike P. took first place with a score of 119.2 decibels, and coming in second place, was Tim R. with a score of 118.1 decibels. For the events second class, the Modified Kit Class, coming in first place was Pepe S. with a score of 131.0 decibels and the second-place winner was Sean from Hoodoo Glass.
